After many years traversing the oceans of the world I have, not too surprisingly, developed a desire to convey atmosphere and tranquility in my watercolours, always working to retain transparency.
I use only the best water colours and materials available to achieve, in my opinion, this vital feature of the watercolour medium.
I am particularly inspired by early morning and evening light, which is especially significant in England's relatively flat area of East Anglia, where I live. This will become immediately apparent on your visit to the gallery.
